The first  thing you need to do to start an internet busines is decide what and how you want to sell on the web. You could choose from Actual Products, Information Products, MLM Programs, or maybe Auction sites such as Ebay.

•  Actual Products - To sell actual products you would have to contact companies such as wholesalers for their products. You would normally have to have a business name and number before they will do business with you. If you want to learn more about selling actual (physical) products online
   
• Information Products - You can create information products easier than you think. They can bring you in some major money if done correctly. 

• Affiliate Program - You can join an affiliate program to sell just about anything. You sign up, usually for free and sell merchant products which include information products. You market these products and receive a percentage whenever someone buys the merchant’s products. You just send visitors to a landing page of the merchant and if they buy you get a percentage of the sale.
  
• MLM Program  (Multi Level Marketing) - This type of program can sell just about anything. You join, usually for a fee and sell their product as well as get other people to join under you and you can earn money from every sale they make as well as your own sales.
  
• E-Bay Auction - You can join eBay and auction off pretty near anything you can imagine. It can be very profitable if you know how to do it, or just a fun past time.
